1888 Asbury Meth. Building moved from E. 16th & Capitol to E. 32nd & Walnut

1888-0ctober 1901 St. Walnut Methodist Church

1890 Name changed to Simpson

November 1901 Moved to E. 26th & Capitol, was too close to the Fairgrounds
-
August 1914 Building enlarged

1915 & 1916 Restaurant at the fair-raised $3000 to pay off church debts

Parsonage built summer 1921 (where? Assume on lot North of church). The cost was $4000, funds raised from restaurant at fair
-
1959 Parsonage moved to lot 2543 Capitol, Lot bought for $1

December 1958

ED Wing completed May 1962

Old Church torn down 1968 - new building opened November 1970

1984 Vestibule addition--West Door
